It's hard to believe that a year has gone by and our little guy has already had his first birthday! We definitely missed having our family around to celebrate the big day, but we did have a nice little party with a few of our close friends. As you will see from the pictures we found out that Bennett has a deep love for birthday cake. Shortly after his birthday he decided to give walking a shot and he seems to love the new found freedom. Kyra has really stepped up in her big sister role and she is such a great helper. She really has become quite the little mommy and it's been so fun to watch the two of them interact! Bennett just lights up when she walks in the room. Bennett also received the best birthday gift ever....a new baby cousin!! On May 27th Ben's brother Chris and wife Leslie had a baby boy, Caden Mathew. He was about a month early, but is doing great and we're so excited to meet him!
